The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of progressive experience in risk management, with deep expertise in the energy sector, including but not limited to oil & gas, renewables, and power utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise risk management (ERM) framework tailored to the energy industry.
- Oversee identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies for financial, operational, regulatory, environmental, and market risks.
- Lead risk scenario planning, stress testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Advise senior leadership and the board on emerging risks, risk appetite, and mitigation strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of risk professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in risk management, with at least 10 years in the energy sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, and compliance within complex energy environments.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in energy (FERC, NERC, EPA, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as CRM, FRM, CFA, or PMP are highly desirable.
