Responsibilities of a Financial Reporting Analyst:
- Assist in Management, Financial, Budget, and Strategic Plan reporting
- Providing support for external reporting following IFRS standards and USGAAP
- Collaborating on Group reporting processes, addressing accounting issues, and conducting analysis
- Collaborating with the Internal Control team to execute SOX controls
- Managing data integrations between systems and ensuring system alignment
- Playing a role in change management by clarifying business requirements and performing UAT for ExQL model and Reports
- Resolving functional issues arising from the reporting process
- Helping stakeholders with financial reporting queries
- Reviewing and troubleshooting data issues during the process
Essential skills:
- 7-13 years of experience gained in the big 4 and corporate environment (ideally commerce & industry)
- Exceptional comprehension of Financial & Management Reporting principles
- Proficient understanding of financial systems and their reporting procedures is essential.
- Collaborative team player capable of meeting tight deadlines
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to comprehend, manipulate, and interpret intricate information
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is advantageous
- Possession of CPA/ACCA qualification is beneficial
